Hey all,
Just wondering how everyone is doing.
Weird to say bye to the Summer so soon.
Eventhough the weather wasn't the best, it was still quite enjoyable.

I am in the middle of recovering from getting my tonsils out.
I had it done Sept 8.
I do not return to work until Sept 24.
I had always heard how painful it is, but WOW this is pretty rough.

I am tired of popsicles, and the meds are making me

Hope people here are well.

Kassy

welll hiya Kassy

I hope you're feeling better....ish! I have heard that getting your tonsils out as an adult is much more painful and the recovery can be much longer... hope youre back to your old self soon =)

Everything is going well here.... baby demon is growing like a weed... Turned 7 months old on Sunday and wants to crawl desparately. I'm assuming she will be crawling by week end... (that will change everything) The BUbba demon and I are good... we had a little heartbreak a month ago and miscarried... I was not prepared for how devastated I would feel for so long after.... I had no idea. People can be so quick to say...."You'll be fine, you'll have more"...etc.. I could go on and on, but I wont.

More than anyone, I know I lead a blessed life. I have Bubba... I have evelyn... family, friends.... yep, I realize it... yet, I lost the chance to have another little baby and it hurt so much. Hurts.

One day at a time though. I am a tough cookie. I will reign strong... life is good [img]graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I hope everyone who no longer comes here is doing well too.... happy and prospering.....

If you do stop by, let us know how you are !

Last Xmas my friend lost her 4 year old daughter to meningitis. She was her only child and she cant have more children. (Not many knew this).

I know I never felt more confused and questioned my faith and everything there was to question when Aylssa died. I was in shock for at least 3 months afterwards. I knew/helped raise this little girl and in an instant she was gone.

I was fucked for a long time afterwards. I cant even tell you what Shannon (her mother) went through.

Point being, nobody knew what to say to Shannon. I heard everything from "you should get a dog" to "You'll have more you're young" (which she cant) to "It was god's will".

Shannon never understood why people said such things. I told her it was because they just didnt know what else to say.
She resented them. Friends we had for years who she felt didnt understand.

Who can understand unless you went through it yourself?
I think people who love you just do the best they can. They say what they feel you need to hear. Hit and miss.

They played "In the arms of an angel" at Alyssa's funeral. I stll cant be anywhere that song is played. Sometimes there are things in life you'll never get over.

Much love to you Amy. As always.

Kassy hope you're feeling better.
